Standards & Process

The Record in Practice.

elmont Dispatch operates under a defined set of editorial standards. Every article, note, and observation published in this journal passes through a consistent review process before reaching readers. The principles below describe that process in full.

01 — Publication Classification

elmont Dispatch is an independent editorial publication exploring everyday supplementation habits, nutritional awareness, and active lifestyle choices for men. The publication is not affiliated with any commercial, governmental, or institutional body.

The journal's focus is observational and editorial. Articles document patterns, observations, and evidence-informed perspectives on men's nutrition and supplementation. They do not constitute professional advice of any kind, nor should they be understood as guidance for the management of any specific condition.

Readers with specific concerns about their daily routines are encouraged to speak with a qualified wellness professional. elmont Dispatch does not offer, imply, or substitute for such a relationship.

02 — Editorial Process
01

Subject Selection

Topics are selected based on relevance to men's everyday supplementation and nutritional awareness. The editorial desk prioritises subjects with a meaningful body of published nutritional research, avoiding trending claims that lack documented basis.

02

Source Review

Writers are required to identify primary sources — published nutritional research and independent nutritional literature — before drafting. Sources are cited where appropriate. The editorial desk does not accept manufacturer-provided data as a standalone source.

03

Second-Editor Review

Every article is reviewed by a second editor before publication. This review checks factual consistency, source attribution, vocabulary standards, and compliance with the journal's editorial principles. Articles that do not pass review are returned for revision or withheld.

04

Corrections Policy

Corrections are noted publicly at the base of affected articles. Readers who identify factual inaccuracies are encouraged to write to the editorial desk. Confirmed corrections are applied within five working days of verification and noted with a date stamp.

03 — Source Verification

Content published by elmont Dispatch is selected based on published nutritional research and reviewed for editorial accuracy by a second editor before publication.

The journal draws on publicly available nutritional literature, independent wellness publications, and observational reporting. When specific figures or study findings are cited, the writer is required to link or reference the originating publication.

Supplement-specific claims are evaluated against the available body of nutritional literature, not against individual product marketing materials. The journal does not accept sponsored content in which the sponsor retains editorial control.

Source Categories Accepted

  • Published nutritional researchJournal articles and nutritional literature available in recognised nutritional databases and independent review publications.
  • Independent nutritional authoritiesEstablished nutritional bodies, government dietary guidelines, and independent wellness research institutes are accepted as secondary references.
  • Observational reportingFirst-person observations and editorial perspectives are clearly framed as such, distinct from cited research. The journal welcomes reflective writing provided the framing is honest.
  • Not accepted as standalone sourcesManufacturer claims, brand-sponsored research, and anecdotal social media content are not accepted as primary sources, though they may be noted for editorial context.
04 — Commercial Independence

elmont Dispatch operates as an independent editorial publication. The journal does not hold equity stakes in, receive performance-based compensation from, or enter exclusive agreements with any supplement brand, retailer, or distributor.

Writers and contributors are required to disclose any commercial relationships — including affiliate arrangements, past paid endorsements, or brand partnerships — before submitting work for publication. Disclosure notes appear at the base of affected articles.

The journal accepts editorial advertising as clearly demarcated advertising, not editorial content. Advertising placement does not influence editorial direction, article selection, or the review process described in section 02 above.

Disclosure Standard

elmont Dispatch operates under the following editorial principles: articles are reviewed by at least one second editor before publication, sources are cited where appropriate, corrections are noted publicly, and writers disclose any commercial relationships that could influence their selection of subject matter.

05 — Accuracy & Reader Responsibility

On Accuracy

The editorial desk holds accuracy as a primary obligation. This means verifying figures before publication, framing observations honestly as observations rather than conclusions, and applying the same standard of scepticism to positive and negative claims alike.

When the nutritional literature is divided on a subject, elmont Dispatch reflects that division honestly. The journal does not simplify contested evidence into confident recommendations where the underlying research does not support such confidence.

Reader Responsibility

Articles published on elmont Dispatch are editorial in nature and reflect the writers' observations on everyday supplementation habits and nutritional awareness for active men. The content is not intended as professional advice, nor as guidance for the management of any specific condition.

We recommend speaking with a qualified wellness or nutrition professional before introducing any new habit or routine to your daily life, particularly if you have specific dietary requirements.
